Pork food is OK to eat for 2 reasons:
- Pork meat is checked for diseases before being manufactured.
- Viruses die with heat. When you cook bacon the viruses, if any, are killed.

This is all a bit too much bother atm too seeing as
A) there have been no deaths outside of mexico that can be attributed to this leading many experts to the conclusion that there are external factors at play in mexico
B) This sort of thing happens year in year out , Remember the H5N1 strain responsible for the bird flu scare a few years ago no worldwide pandemic that some expertas where claiming was imminent then .Outbreaks of flu are very comon , in fact every year in the winter months there is widespread infection of people with flu that is just a seasonal flu epidemic that happens every year and that seasonal flu that comes around every year has the potential still to kill people it is only because our immune systems have grown used to the seasonal flu that most people are not killed by flu . The only reason this strain of flu is any different is because of its genetic makeup this is no different in effect that it can have on your body than "ordinary flu" only difference is your bodies natural immunity may not be able to protect you fully from it , currently it is unknown wether our body can fight it off from the immunity we have to the seasonal flu and if not how does it respond to currently available anti viral medicine which reports from the USA claim that it is responding very well to anti viral medicine
C) As i said above currently this outbreak is responding well to adnti viral medicine in the USA and so their is nothing ot suggest that this strain is resistant to medicine
D)There is not much data available to suggest how many people it has killed out of the number of people infected . So far we know reported possible cases is mexico is currently at around 2000 however what we dont know is how many other people have been infected but their bodies have shown no signs of symptoms as they have thought off the virus
I think people who are scremongering need to stop as it dosent aid the world health orginasation and the governments of the world in doing their job of keeping their citizens safe . If this was such a huge health concern as some people are making it out to be dont you think that all non necessary flights would be grounded , all public gatherings such as sports events, musical concerts would be cancelled . And of course all places of education and Employment would be closed until further notice or at least all non essential services would be suspended , all public transport would grind to a halt and the governments advice would be to stay indoors
With that however I am not saying we need to be completely wishy washy about this of course this is a slight cause for concern but until there is more data available about this the best people can do is be vigilant and maintain general standards of hygene there is nothing you can do until the scientists have done their work of establishing how bad this is

Im not scared in the least bit of this disease or sickness. There has been 40 cases in the US and only 2 of them have been hospitalized. With all the people in this country and only 40 ppl have it??? This is one person who could care less about some disease that is being all blown out of proportion.

Well the complication is that it spreads from human to human. The number of people infected with respect to time follows an exponential curve. This, is their fear.
