The Pulse Smart Pen (developers).
It has a camera on the bottom that reads small micro dots on the paper reading what you are writing but.. at the same time!
It records the person you are taking notes from!
Then you can go back and tap the paper with the pen and it will play the audio recorded when you wrote that note!
You can then hook it up to your computer and download the notes and the audio. With the headphones / headset it comes with it records 3D audio. This thing is amazing for a freaking pen!

I need to have every advantage in this math class I am taking over the summer.. It goes quickly 16 weeks put into 6. 2 hour classes 4 days a week. I am getting one of these puppies!

Comes in 1GB and 2GB versions.

There's another one that uses accelerometers to record the actual pen strokes and will dump the file to a word processor.
That one you showed requires you to tap an image to get it started and to stop it. The one I'm talking about has a pressure switch at the top of the cartridge so it only comes to life when there's pressure on the point of the pen.
Either one is way too much money for that type of do-hickey you're going to lay down and forget at some point. 19 cent Bic and a note book will be cheaper if you lose them. Besides if you're wanting to do audio recording of your sessions a digital recorder can be had for under 50 bucks US money.

I didn't find the review on it but I swear it's real. But I did find a bunch of good reads for that type of pen. One is a review from a newspaper that is somewhat unkind. The other type of pen is made referance to in an obscure sort of way in some of the links.
There are other types of pens that use infrared tracking that cost considerabily less.
