Liquid Cooling help

if you want some clear great cooling liquid
get
mineral oil
it has a high burning point
and its not corrosive or even conductive

seriously >.> Mineral Oil is too thick and doesn't dissipate heat well enough to even be practical in a LCS. And don't even get me started on the corrosion it would cause.

veggie oil is thicker
and some people have used it
what are you talking about?
too thick my butt
motor oil would be
but it all depends on the user

I've never seen anyone put mineral oil inside a liquid cooling loop before.

Ehh; you're right. It really does depend on the user and their application for the system. I just see mineral oil as one of those "non-practical" liquids to use. it would sort of strain the pump and some impurities could really ruin the tubing. Just as Cabbs has said ( I always agree with him, lol ) I've never seen it done and I suppose if there is proof I would love to see it.

That is the classic example I've seen for the use of mineral oil. But I seriously doubt that keeps your components cool at all...Once the tank is heated, it stays heated and has no where to go or way to be cooled.
