windows 7, vista Home basic, Vista Home Premium 64 bit, and XP SP3... yeah I like variety...
But 7 is only a beta (obv) on my everyday comp, xp is on a cheapo compaq that I have had for years, Home premium on my Gaming rig, and home basic is on my lappy.
XP on my Dell Desktop and Laptop (which is dead now), Ubuntu 8.07 on a compaq box someone gave me, and Ubuntu 8.10 x64 on my new build box. The other Dell box I have here is also on XP. And at this rate, I will be inheriting 3 boxes on XP, 2000, and 2000 respectively.
On my main desktop:
Partition 1 (~400GB) is Vista Ultimate x64
Partition 2 (~80GB) is Ubuntu 8.10 (intrepid)
My alternate desktop:
Windows XP x86 -- once I replace the HD I plan on installing Ubuntu or Fedora Core 10 on it and running it as a low-end (and user-friendly) server.
is their any way to rename operating systems on the list? like if i have vista 32 bit and 64 bit i want one to say at least 64 bit so i know which is which if i were to use both
