On my last Eee PC (1000 HE), I installed Eeebuntu by formatting and (not 100% sure, but) partitioning a part of the "D" Drive. The netbook has two drives, C and D, "D" being the backup drive that allows for a restore.
This ended up being a problem last time as I couldn't restore the netbook through it's own settings. I want to install Eeebuntu on this new 1000HE again, but I don't really know how I should go about doing it. During the install (which I use a USB hard drive for to boot into), it gives me a variety of options regarding which drive to choose and how to format it, etc, but I honestly don't know anything it says!
Any ideas on what I can do? Is there a way that I can partition part of my C: drive for this use? Any suggestions on the installation?
Much appreciated as always,
Chris
