Whats the point in 5,000 when you only have 48?

Mods now have storage for 80

Admins still have storage for 15 as I don't find the need for anymore.

Well the same reason that email clients give you a large window. Example Google is 7.5GB I believe. I'm only using a fraction of it but its nice to know I don't have to worry about deleting stuff constantly.

I don't have that many PM's on the site I posted because I don't need to PM much there.
