Ok after 16 days of overclocking and benching my bfg 9600gt it really isnt all that great.
Empire total war 1440 x 900 shader model 3 on high no aa no af: 42fps avg
Far Cry 2 same res on high no aa no af: 55fps avg
Medievial II total war kingdoms same res on high no aa no af: 50fps avg
Call of duty 5 on all high no aa no af: 58fps avg
its not horrible but with bfg's step up program i could have a better card to support future games. i've got 86 days to decide, heres the cards i have to choose from:

GTX 285 1024 OC PCIE2 - $359.99 - [Trade Up]

GTX 285 1024 OCX PCIE2 - $399.99 - [Trade Up]
GTX 285 1024 OCP PCIE2 - $369.99 - [Trade Up]
GTX 260 MAX55 896MB OC2 - $249.99 - [Trade Up]
GTX 260 MAX55 896MB OCX - $269.99 - [Trade Up]
GTX 260 MC55 OC 896MB PCIe2 - $229.99 - [Trade Up]
GTX 295 H2O 1792MB PCIe2 - $779.99 - [Trade Up]
GTS 250 OC 1024 GDDR3 PCIE2 - $209.99 - [Trade Up]
GTS 250 OC 512 GDDR3 PCIE2 - $179.99 - [Trade Up]
GTX 275 OC 896 GDDR3 PCIE2 - $249.99 - [Trade Up]
idk anything about nvidia's gtx line up so thats basically what i need help with, and im looking for a card with best price/performance ratio.
also im kinda thinking maybe my system could be a bottleneck with those cards. my specs are in my sig, would it be a bottleneck?
