Possible Comp Rig

Definitely go with Vista 64 bit. There's really nothing wrong with it as 99% of users here will tell you. It's mostly got a bad name from people who don't know WTF they're talking about.

Alright so get vista, check but im leaning towards intel does it make a difference?

Intel is alot better if you have over $1000-1500 for a corei7 build. if your budget is more $500-800 go with AMD.

My kuma 7750 performs very well and is prime95 8 hours stable @ 3.2ghz 62C peek temp, But it wont go up any more without some signifcant voltage and cooling changes.. Convertxtodvd encoding fps on medium: 125avg (Avg fps is based on 5 movies that i've converted to dvd) So basically yeah the kuma is a steal for $65. IMO

I see why evry1 wants to get AMD but then I have to switch my mobo can some1 suggest an AMD motherboard thts good for my build?

EDIT: Okay nvm I saw worshipme's suggestion so i'm goin w/ that motherboard & the kuma so yea this is my close to final rig

Check the build I already posted. A 780G will be fine for you.
