Some of the 4850's are down in price some are 115 dollars with free shipping

Also, if you have the 9800gt and the step up program still available, you can trade up to a gts 250 for little no no cost

UPDATE: ATI's 4850 X2's are down in price also seems like all of the 4000 series cards prices are declining

response to the 250 gts? maybe

Nice, i love the 4850...

We are sitting in a much better spot than we were about 2 years ago as far as video cards...

when the 8600 was the mainstream card :(

My friend had an 8600GTS. It was the only thing in his price range at the time, not really the greatest performer.

Isn't the 9800GT practically the same thing as the GTS 250?

the 9800gtx+ is similar but the 250 gts is more power efficient and is a little better than the gtx+ the 1GB version is also a slight improvement over the 9800gtx+ not to mention the cheaper price tag

It's basically a rebranded 9800GTX+.

Yep, just like the 9800GT is better than the 8800GT.

good find holysky, glad some of the manufacturers are actually puting the prices down on cards, now if they only put the 295 down in price by $200-$300, that would be even better, for me anyways.

Why would it be good for you?? According to your sig you already have one... If they dropped the price of something I bought by 2 or 3 hundred after i bought it I would be pissed...

But nice find Holysky...:D:D

well yea i would be pissed, i wasnt thinking correctly lol but if they dropped it again i would just purchase another one, i know it would be overkill but im high on benchmarking and it will probably last me another 2-3 years running games on high. Mostly to play the next few Crysis's, if their is more to come out. We shall know at E3, hopefully.

they announced Crysis Wars awhile back, which is an Crysis Warhead multiplayer IIRC.
Not really into the whole Crysis thing, so I didnt do much research on it.
