Why not do both, as a new technologies thread and as PD said if it's good and it's there long enough as an accurate thread then a mod will sticky it.

do you think we would be able to make a sticky under general hardware section for todays top computer parts. I know worshipme's guide is like that, but this is what i mean.

We post the top Computer performance for computers AMD and ATI and Nvidia and Intel or any other way

for now it would be (for Nvidia/Intel)

kinda like that, but this is a rough draft

so what do you think.

i think it will be good becuase we can tell how much our technology has increased.

like i remember 3 or 4 years ago my 8600gt was top of the line with 256MB

now it is 512MB for 50.......

sounds like a good idea. but who will edit it. its gonna change drastically even over a month.

It'd be way too much upkeep. Personally, I am not fond of the build thread for that reason. It is not updated often enough and most (if not all) of those builds are nearing obsolete for what they were intended for on in the post.

Don't think it will do well. Numerous reasons, frequent updates and what would you mean 'top parts'? I mean a super fast GPU wouldn't be as good as the "xxx" for gaming etc.

Im sure that if you just go ahead and make a full edited post of this and it is good I'm sure that it would be stickyed. Just try it and keep it up for a while and maybe if the mods or david sees that it has potential and is good I'm sure it would be done. But it is going to be ALOT of work and don't be a fanboy about it cuz that will ruin the thread IMO...:D:D:D

or would it be good to label new products realeased

250 gts

4890

soon to be core i5's
