Hello

I have been converting all my DVD's using Nero 9 and storing the converted MP4's on a network drive. I have then catalogued these files in iTunes, mainly because I can then transfer to an iPod and watch them. However, I have got a new PC with an HDMI output and can use this to watch said films on my TV.

The picture quality on my TV isnt great because I have had to reduce resolution to 640 for the iPod. Im now thinking about forgetting about iTunes completely.

My question is does anyone recommend software that will play std DVD VOD/MP2 files that effectively does what iTunes does and catalogue them so I can then select a film, watch it on my TV but with no loss of picture quality? I would also like to be able to add artwork like iTunes. I keep the MP4 files on a 1TB network drive which still has plenty of room left. Any recommendations or thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks, Mark.

You could just use Windows Media Centre. From what I can see, it'll do what you need!
