Id like one with a touchscreen. Not a tiny little hand held one, those are nice though maybe ill wait till later to get a decent one rather then ebay special lol.

I own a Garmin but tbh as long as it can locate your position accurately to tell you where you are you don't need the extra features that go along with expensive models. I would pay monthly if I wanted to get live traffic monitoring but I dont so there are no monthly payments. Just buy the GPS and away you go.

This one that Spec posted looks to be not bad for the price.

I have been using my Grandpas Garmin on vacations, and it is pretty nice. I also have TomTom on my phone, and I like it much better then the Garmin, but it's on a smaller phone screen, and drains the battery.

Sweet. What exactly are the features that are in the more costly ones?

Because I am assuming speed and elevation and random little things like that are standard.
