Well I just want one of those little Navigation GPS's for the cars.

I know nothing about these? The cheaper the better. Definitely under a hundred dollars (can this be done??)

I thought there were monthly fees, but I could be wrong. Maybe you just buy the "map" pack and then off you go. I'm not sure to be honest, but I do know the units can be had for under a hundred quite often. Nothing fancy, but a GPS is a GPS if you ask me.

The GPS i usually see for less than $100 or one of the cheap ones that isnt that accurate. Some might be outdated too, thats where you would get charged again if you wanted to get it updated, which is about $100 or so.
Those are what happened to my friend when he got an GPS.

yeah there are usually a monthly fee koby..we got one of those "Garmin" ones and there is no monthly fee. its a one you just attatch to your window and you can take it anywhere, even outside the car. i would recommend this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16858191067 from magellan, my uncle has that for up in union valley... and this is th eone we have - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16858191038 - its really nice

this is the cheapest your gonna get though...

I own a Garmin but tbh as long as it can locate your position accurately to tell you where you are you don't need the extra features that go along with expensive models. I would pay monthly if I wanted to get live traffic monitoring but I dont so there are no monthly payments. Just buy the GPS and away you go.

This one that Spec posted looks to be not bad for the price.

im looking at getting a navman, one of the cheaper models that doesnt come with everything but comes with enough to get the job done.
