IE7 and ftp sites

I have recently created and ftp site for my compnay. I am having trouble opening up files in IE7. It wants to save to hard drive. On IE6 it opens from site and I can work on the files. Does anyone know a trick or something to make IE7 work as IE6?

It's most likely a problem with the passive mode settings of the ftp server. To correct this in IE7 try:
1.) Open IE7
2.) Click tools in the top right corner
3.) Click Internet Options
4.) Click on the Advanced tab
5.) Scroll down until you find a checkbox that says: "Use Passive FTP (for firewall and DSL modem compatibility).
6.) If it is checked, uncheck it. If it is unchecked, check it.
7.) re-start IE
8.) Try to ftp in again.
