The puzzle was more WHY Defrag didn't think, considering I have a gig of the stuff, I had enough memory to run Windows Defrag.
I've tried one stick of memory changed with that from a dinosaur comp. I've got and still get that error message. I'll change the other when I've stopped doing computery stuff and see if that makes any difference!
