Banned because he thought being old gave him the right to do whatever he wanted, breaking thousands of rules in the process and laugh at those who challenged him. The fact that David personally defended him made the whole thing infinitely more farcical. In fact, Brookfield made himself look like an idiot and made literally about 100 enemies in the process.

Some of the stuff he came out with was so ridiculous and stupid that it was actually funny.
