Dell 9300 LCD issue

Hello there, well im having issues with my dell Inspiron 9300 laptop, i got a replacement 17" wuxga but im having problems with it. the backlight comes on but nothing displays? and the bios isnt recognizing the lcd panel. any ideas?

Try your monitor on another computer.

i have and have tried 3 other lcds, i know its not the lcd

Is it DVI or VGA? Is your video output set correctly? Is it the same monitor as you had before? Maybe the resolution is set too high?

yes it is the same as before, and i am refering to the actual internal laptop lcd, ive tried changin the res. but what is wierd is that the bios wont recognize the lcd? as it did before
