Moving one files from one partition to another

Anyone know how I can move a game I have installed on my C:\ to my D:\ partition? I don't have the cd anymore :/

Doesn't it require me to move registry entries?
What do I copy? the whole folder?

There's alot involved in moving an installed program. You can't just copy and paste the folder. There's myriads of registry entries to find and backup. I believe there are programs available that can do it.

Well it really depends on the game,some games you can just copy and paste but as you some wont allow you to do that.

I copied the whole folder and it seems to work now! thanks anyway
