There is a cable in a side panel door in the battery bay.
The cable seems to connect straight to the motherboard, What exactly is this cable used for? Flashing a bios? Read up on it.. something to do with bluetooth?

Definitely bluetooth. So is it just hanging there not connected to the motherboard?

The wire is connected to the motherboard, it's sorta "hidden" behind a back panel in the battery bay. It's not connected to the bluetooth module because well.. I don't have one lol..

Here is where it is with the clip on panel removed.

Ah I see. So you want more information before you plug it back in?

edit: If you're afraid of messing up your software I doubt anything will happen. To flash a BIOS you have to pretty much run the file off a floppy or a CD. The worse thing that might happen is Windows giving you a pop-up saying, "Windows has detected new hardware."

No. no. Just wasn't exactly sure what it was/may be used for. Knew someone here would know.:)

are you sure that blue module there isnt the bluetooth module. my 9300 has one that sits in this wierd little compartment
