I have a dell inspiron 530 and an acer monitor. my inspiron only has a vga connection and my acer has both a vga and a dvi-d connection. but i want to hook my xbox 360 up to my acer as well because i dont have a hd tv and then i could play in hd on my xbox. but the cord they make for the xbox 360 only allows you to use vga so i cant have both my xbox 360 and computer hooked up at the same time. Is there a dvi-d video card i could buy and if so could u link. and would that work like could i switch from my xbox 360 and computer? thanks for the help

There are thousands of DVI graphics cards, what's your budget like?

And yes, then you could switch between the two.

well cheapest would be nice but i just want something with dvi-d conectionand how much would it cost to install it i wouldnt want to spend more then a 100 for the card and installation. oh and by the way it has to be dvi-d not dvi cause i tried dvi adapters and they dont fit the plugs

You can just plug it into your motherboard yourself. Easiest upgrade available.
