edit: oh i c it's only micro-ATX. that would explain why. Seeing as you're buying an ATX case you should get an ATX motherboard.

Now,Vista or XP?

HD4870 will destroy every game in XP, but won't look as good. HD4870 will destroy nearly all games in Vista, but 2GB of RAM means you'll have to cut down on some multi-tasking.

tell us how it goes after you built it.

I would go with XP personally. I tried both for gaming, and i could not tell much of a difference between those two. There are really little noticeable parts when playing between DX9 and DX10.

Vista is really good if you could get another 2GB of ram, but if you cant, then get XP.

Well i now have 4 DIMM Slots so later on down the track i can get 4gb and maybe run 64 bit

Im Thinking of running vista (Since XP Is no longer receiving updates as of april) but i dont know....
