Graphic Cards around 80$

ok well here are some of my computer specs i have an amd athlon 64 2.4ghz singe core processor 2 gig of ram(just upgraded) a onboard radeon express 200 and my power supply is a thermaltake 430w atx12v, so is it worth it to get a overclocked msi 4830? or stick with the 9600GT, i know the 4830 is around 130$ but im willing to spend that much if it should work properly with my system.

my computer is a emachine c6415 with a MSI MS-7145 motherboard.

Yeah, go with the 4830. And hell, if you're willing to go that high, spend an extra 14 bucks and go with the HD 4850. It's a very fast card.

Only thing I'm not sure about is if you have enough amperage on the 12v rail.

Post your PSU specs, or give a link to your PSU.

if this is his psu then a 4830 would fit the bill nicely as it's not as hungry for power as the 4850 and 9600GT, much less hungry IIRC, 18a on a single 12v rail might be pushing it with the more power hungry cards...

the motherboard doesn't matter, PCI-E is the same whether on a mATX or full ATX, it's your case that needs to be looked at in relation to the size of the card, more specifically the distance from the front to the back of the case...
