video card help.

OK. So I finally have the money I need to get a new video card and I want some suggestions. I can spend up to $90 (including shipping). So hit me with ideas and comments/ suggestions. And I don't care if it's ATI or nVidia.

These are the two cards that I am currently considering. This card is going to replace my holder card in sig. I have 450 Watt PSU.

Rooster, I remembered that I now have a $105 dollar limit. And I had considered that card but I have heard that it does not perform the best.

It drops in between the HD 3850 and the HD 3870 in terms of performance.

well cool. I have heart it is only as good as an 8600GTS. But I have heard that the 3850 far outdoes the 8600GTS. But if I had a choice, I think I will go with the Visiontek 3870 512mb card.

Yea, after looking through some reviews, the HD 3870 is a better overall performer.

It's too bad you couldn't swing $110: EVGA GeForce 9600 GT

I may be able too swing it. Is the 9600GT really that much better than the 3870 even with lower memory clock, fewer stream procs., less cooling ability, and lower core clock, and less clean image quality?

Depends on whether you play with AA or not, as the HD 3800s seem to take a nosedive when AA is applied. The HD 3870 is a touch faster than the 9600GT with no AA, and they swap places when AA is applied.
