Internet Explorer constantly crashing

I have this issue with IE on my VISTA. It constantly crashes and then restarts. I have no clue why that is happening, so I went on the msie site where I installed REGCURE, a program which is supposed to fix it. Surprisingly, I was asked to pay $29.99 to use it! Back to my problem, what should I do?

btw, no program is going to fix it for you... you have to do it yourself.

Try opening internet options in the control panel -> click advanced -> click reset

That is a pretty basic step, but it can sometimes clean all those crappy toolbars and misc glitches out of IE.

But seriously, download Mozilla Firefox and stop playing with fire =P

Do you have the latest version. Or, did you update to the latest version?

only use IE for windows updates.. stick to Firefox for everything else

I tried resetting, nothing. It is the latest version, so that is not the problem. I am now using Firefox as suggested by Jo5h and Nanotech. I like it. Thanks a lot for all the help!

Seems to be the best fix to problems with IE is to use FF. WIN!
