The memory frequency is linked to the FSB frequency, it depends on the ratio and FSB speed. For example, 400FSB x 1:1 = 400 (=DDR 800) If you increase the FSB, the RAM frequency will increase as well.

Set your ratio to 1:1, this will eliminate variables even if it means having to downclock your RAM.
