if its 32-bit XP, then about 3GB-4GB (Varies on factors)
If its 64-bit XP, then whatever your motherboard can handle.

Max memory a 32bit operating system can address in total is 4GB, Windows will display what is left over after all other memory (video card etc) is deducted from the 4GB total which is why people with a 512MB video card see 3.25GB or 3.5GB of memory displayed in windows (depends on what other devices are installed)
