I want to overclock my dell...

Sorry its been like a year so i dont really remember how to overclock on an oem mobo

Its a dell optiplex gx260

I put a 2.4ghz P4, 1.5gb ram, 30gb hdd, Windows xp pro sp2

It runs great but i want to overclock the processor a little... and i need a software program that will do it.

I wouldn't trust programs to do it
But is your bios locked? Is that why you need a program?

By OEM motherboard do you mean that you've replaced the one that came with the dell with one that is not made by dell? If the answer to this question is no, then you cannot overclock your computer.

No its the original dell mobo thats what im saying... theres no multiplier options in the bios. And im pretty sure theres some software, cus my msi k9n diamond came with a program, that overclock or underclock for gaming mode or something like that.

Regardless if you can find software or not, I'm pretty sure Dell has a locked BIOS which means you can't change any settings as far as hardware goes.
