Okay, so maybe the Hardware and Software should just be the General Computer Help section with the sub forums merged. That' make a transition easier.

And Tommy Boy, David himself did say he was open to suggestions on this.

RubberChicken, I thought about that...but that would mean like 4 decently big forums combined into one. I still think Hardware and Software should be separated with another forum for "in-between" questions.

Well there are tons of questions on router issues, configurations, etc... there is just no place for them.

I think that they get used, but when newbies come on and see a "General Computer Problem" forum they immediately post there without looking for the correct place to put it.

Just suggestions though, doesn't matter one way or another.

-General computer talk
....show off your rig etc etc.

The sub forums for general computer talk would be media, reviews, and gallery

-CF suggestions comments and feedback

-communications

-Classifieds




Technical

-Computer Hardware
.....Talk about anything computer hardware related.
Sub forums here would be ati vs nvidia and intel vs amd

-Computer Software
.....Discuss anything from photoshop to windows to gadgets
subforum would be windows vs apple


Webhosting

-Shared and Dedicated Hosting and sever administration

-Web programming and design

-review and advertising board

take out completely security and backing and operating systems.

Security, OS, and Programming are good subforums. However they can all be classified as Sofware.

a mix of ArrizX's and rubber's and i think we have a winner
deff get rid of some of the hosting sub forums, and some of the other ones we dont use much. the community is too small to have such pointless sections.
