Buying a new computer...HELP!

Option 2 will be the most useful when it comes time for the video editing. Not to mention it also is slightly cheaper than Option 1. Option 3 will be a real drag with the editing.

The processing power is not much different, but still if you want to go with video editing, go with 2.
The 3rd option, it will slow down your computer, like Joga said. It has less ram, running at a slower MHz rating.

Overall best would be to build one, but from those choices, the 2nd sounds the best.

damn, don't you guys get it...? he/she probably can't even get a $200 computer right now if he/she wanted to, let alone the one's your suggesting, if not the only option, in his/her opinion this is the best option right now, so...

obviously none of these computers are gaming/video editing computers, I would just take the cheapest one, which would be fine for everyday computing (word processing, internet, etc.) and it would also mean less payments...

now if you do more than just basic stuff on the computer, then honestly, you're pretty borked on that budget...
