Would this be okay?

Hey. Well since I'm getting a new video card that's a lot longer I was worried about the length of a couple cables.

So I thought up a way to fix it. I was just wondering if it was safe? (Heat, static, placement in general, ect.)

I moved my HDD to the front of the case in stead of the bays it's suppose to go in.

And tacky or not, I don't care.

In this pic, it's screwed into the front of the comp (where the power button is)

I just took off the front case, and got a long screw and screwed it in place.

The orange and blue wires is what I was worried about, along w/ the Sata Cable.

And just a front view of where the front case goes on, along w/ the screw I used.

Thanks.

Shouldn't cause you any problems but looks like a fricking stupid way to fix a cable management problem.
