Can't get to regular yahoo site

I'm on a relatives new acer laptop, and everytime I try to go to "www.yahoo.com", ie7 goes to "m.www.yahoo.com" and the yahoo page looks different. Is this some special deal between acer and yahoo or something? Anyone know why this is? And how to fix?

Mine goes to au.yahoo.com, in the right hand corner there is a place to click on to go to regular yahoo, click on there and you will be sweet.
