Hey all- i don't know ANYTHING about laptops and computers, so I hope you can help!

I need to buy a laptop that is in the ~900 dollar range. I was reading Consumer Reports, and they recommended the HP Pavillion DV4t or the Lenovo ThinkPad SL400. I would like to have the option of playing a video game or two down the road (nothing super fancy-- maybe something with requirements similar to World of Warcraft or something). I also want the screen to be in the 14-15 inch range. I also want it to be a good "school computer" for when I go back to work on my graduate degree within a year or two. Lastly, I want something that is durable and long-lived. I've heard mixed reviews about DELL, and every SONY product I've bought has always lasted forever. I know nothing about Lenovo... I really don't want something that is going to break down on me in 2 years!

Thanks for any help! MUCH appreciated!

I know Newegg is a great place for computer parts, but I would highly suggest you shop directly from the manufacturer.

Look beyond Newegg's selection of Asus and Acer notebooks.
