Obama buzz sweeps U.S. capital

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- President-elect Barack Obama was at the White House on Tuesday to meet with President Bush, as hundreds of thousands gathered at the Capitol for Obama's inauguration.

The Obamas attended a prayer service at St. John's Episcopal Church on Tuesday morning and then headed to the nearby White House for a meeting with the outgoing president and first lady Laura Bush.

Glad to see this day finally come. I hope Obama is successful at the things that are good for the country.

We're not turning socialist. Thats a right-wing scare tactic. You're still going to have to get up and go to work every day. You're still going to have to kick cash into your own 401K plan and pay your light bill. But wouldn't it be nice if healthcare for profit was eliminated? Do you REALLY think you're getting the best health care when it's up to a stock holder on the insurance companies board of directors to decide what kind of treatment and diagnosis' you get at the hospital?

Or would you get better health care if the -- gawd forbid-- DOCTOR got to decide what care you needed?
