okay i have never ever done anything with computers before but i wanted to know if i can take out the mother board of my old computer and install it into my new one also any guidance on how exactly i might do it.
sorry if its a stupid question....

You can. Your motherboard is bolted to your computer case. Simply unscrew, unplug the wires and take out the RAM/Video cards/etc. Make sure the power is off and the cord is not plugged in.

Share what the motherboards are and that should be answered :p
along with memory/processor

At this point, it all depends, we need more information.

First, we need to know what CPU each computer has, and the name of the motherboard.
If you can provide us with that information, then we can tell you if most if not all the parts will be compatible or not. if you cannot provide us the name of the motherboard, then maybe tell us what the brand and name of the computer if its not an custom built.

i cant its a custom,
thanks everyone for there replies but as it turns out my gaming friend is actually going to do it for me xD and also give me 8 gb of ram 4 x 2 gb so im stoked thanks for the replies once again!
