That article above is crazy. Who the hell would do that? I admit that your school days were harder with that "strap" you guys had or whatever you call it. But you can't rip off someones cheek for not doing homework.

the only thing I can think of that is remotely close to strap is strop and that is a short piece of leather, so that wouldn't do as much as say.... and paddle?
