Sound Card Issue

So, I just did a fresh install of Windows Vista. I reinstalled all the drivers, and everything was working better than before. So, I opened my case to screw in my sound card, because I forgot to last time. Now every time I boot into Windows, it keeps saying it has found a Multimedia Audio Controller and needs to install it. Well, the program is already installed and it was working before. What do I do? I didn't know anything loose, or anything. Yes, the card is fully in the slot and no wires are lose. Reinstalling the software doesn't do anything.

Try uninstalling the drivers and reinstall them again. I've had problems with sound cards before and that seemed to clear it up.

So, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling again. But, the process doesn't go anywhere. It gets stuck on uninstalling "Creative Entertainment Center."
