CD Drive Not Opening

Hi,

I recently installed a SATA DVD Drive into my new computer. After resolving most issues, this is the only real problem left that I see. When I press the button, nothing happens. It is very confusing. I have the power connector hooked up and the SATA cable plugged in. Do I have to set it as a master or a slave or something first or what? I'm confused, as I need a DVD Drive, obviously.

Did u check to see if it appears in the device manager? or nothing shown at all. Is there a jumper setting for cable select,cuz thats what mine is on. Not sure maybe you gotta set to master on yours.
