COD4 and COD WaW..

Hey I was wondering why I get such lame performance in Call of Duty WaW, and not COD4?

It's run on the same engine..I can almost max out Call of Duty 4 with good framerates, and on Call of Duty WaW, I get like average framerates on low settings..

Is COD WaW more of a CPU hog? If so, then there's my answer..but if not..wtf?

TBH, it's doubtful, I don't expect a BIOS update is released very often for your board and you'd need an update to run that as it is the new 65nm 6000+, you could try looking for the older 90nm 6000+ if it's still available.

Like I said in your other thread, I really think you should consider a new motherboard.

I just figured out that my CPU is 65nm..

that is quite wierd, mabye processer? thats a 2.11, do you not need a 2.4 to run it?

Do you have Anti-Aliasing on? I can max out my COD4 and COD5 except for anti-aliasing, which makes a big hit on performance. Both games have AA on by default, maybe you didn't turn it off on COD5?

Yeah...seriously..great post..

Yeah, AA is off. Everything is set to automatic, or off...except for the resolution. even then, it still gets laggy.
