Overclocked, it's going to be awesome for $30, and it's a lower power model too, so it'll probably overclock like crazy.

Go with a 780G for the mobo, but it's double the price of the CPU lol.

not really, its an earlier version of one of the first dual cores amd made.

I don't think its any slower than a p4 but its still doesnt touch the cd or pentium duals.

-sorry, thought it was athlon 64, got my facts wrong. It is not one of the earlier models. It was released like 1 and half year ago.

Pentium duals are horrible in performance! This is a very good CPU that probably does beat a Pentium Dual. Just what I think.

May be so, but if you OC both then the AMD will win. Its OC is more than 50%.
