Video Card choice...

He's worried about the card blocking the connectors.

TBH, I think all your long term probs could be solved with a new mobo, you can get a 780G for less than $75, your HD 4670 is a decent card, surely it can carry you over until you can get another one?
And with the new motherboard, you'd be able to choose whatever card you want, no matter what the size. You could overclock your current CPU so you wouldn't have to buy a new one, and if you did, you'd have support for the new Phenoms etc.

If I were you I'd definitely upgrade the mobo before the GPU.

Thanks guys..I'm 15 years old w/ no job, so money is extremely tight...

What I'm thinking is just go w/ the HD4850, use that even though it's being bottlenecked, then save more money and go w/ the CPU cornholio suggested..

Then, once I can get a job I'll just build a whole new comp.

or you can just avoid the troubles and get a new computer with a btr processor!

no jk. COD5 doesnt look that hard to run besides the fact that it is optimized horribly. i think even a 8800gt would last you for the future COD's EXTREMELY well. your processor IS a problem tho.

right, i understand that. im thinking w/ the HD4850 it will be bottlenecked, but since its a powerful card it won't affect it too horribly..

and once i get that card, ill save up for the amd x2 6000+ ...
