If theres someone smart enough on that campus, they could find a way to delete your user password (Go to safe mode, and log into the "Administrator" account), or delete your bios password (clear CMOS).
To prevent CMOS clearing, lock up your case with some type of lock, also make sure your case is pretty durable.
To prevent User password deletion, put an password on the "Administrator" account as well as your User.
You could buy a safe, and put your computer in there when you're not in the room.
Or Take your HDD out when you leave, so they wont install an OS while you are gone, and try to access/delete your files.
You cant avoid someone breaking into your computer. There will be someone smart enough to get in. You can try though.
