Room mate proof PC

Setup an Administrator account with a password, and then create another account without admin privileges, that way nobody can install apps/change settings etc but you.
 
I have the same question, but what about physical security.

I don't want people jacking my hdd or ram and stuff.

And my case is screwed in, but thats of little help.
 
Electrifying the case would do little good for the parts in side :(

and I doubt every college student has one of those cases

I think I just duct tape my case...like 5 times...so if its been tampered with... ill know.
 
quite a lot of cases have a hook on the back that you can put a padlock through and lock the case that way

Electrifying the case was a joke.

As for the cases, that is why you BUY them.

And don't think you have to duct tape your case to know if your hard drive was stolen.
