graphics driver problem

I keep on installing my graphics card(nvidia geforce 8400gs) but it keeps on having errors and says i need to reinstall it in the device manager

Go into your BIOS and disable onboard video, if you have it. That is currently happening with my sound card. It works after I disable onboard HD audio.

I don't have onboard graphics(asus m3a)

You have to make sure you clear your registry keys before installing newer drivers.
I think atomic rooster knows a good prog; I'll search it.

Try installing it on Safemode.

Uninstall any current drivers, then run the program metin posted. Then download the correct drivers for your card from here: Nvidia Driver Downloads. if the driver install fails, go into Device Manager, right click the video card and select Update Drivers. Point the install wizard to the folder containing the drivers and you should be off and running.

This is the procedure I always follow:

Uninstall drivers through control panel/add-remove programs -> Reboot in safe mode and run Driver Sweeper -> Reboot and install the drivers from the page Atomic Rooster posted.
