Does anyone have a computer or processor collection? I Just joined the forum, I thought this would be the perfect place to find out about stuff like that. :)

i don't have a "collection" per se, but I do have an old (non working) mobo and an old processor that didn't work in the comp it was supposed to go in on my wall.

I have a computer from 1998 and I opened it up for the first time two weeks ago.

A dust bunny the size of a baby's head fell out and I was like WTF??!!?

It has a AMD k6 processor
* 8.8 million transistors in 350 nm
* L1-Cache: 32 + 32 KB (Data + Instructions)
* MMX
* Socket 7
* Front side bus: 66 MHz
* First release: April 2, 1997
* VCore: 2.9 V (166/200) 3.2/3.3 V (233)
* Clockrate: 166, 200, 233 MHz

It has like 40mb of RAM 2 x 16 mb + 8mb
Runs on windows 95
Sounds like a truck when turned on
Has 100 watt psu

Planning to donate it to museum of history

i got bought 3 old CPUS and some RAM glued to my wall, and a bunch of random parts wpread out in 3 cases under my bed

I have an old laptop Pentium processor (1.6ghz), AMD Athlon 3000+ (2ghz) and another Pentium (i think its around 2.4ghz)

I've built a computer with a 3.00ghz C2D and a Quad that's around 2.4ghz.

Soon, for my own computer, I will buy an AMD Phenom II X4 2.8ghz 8mb cache. AM3 Socket
