Did Microsoft rip me off?

So, I got my 20GB hard drive in the mail. It had a bunch of demos and videos on it. Even after deleting absolutely everything, I only have 13.0GB of space left. I can understand 17 or 18, but 13?!

Can you see hidden files? There might be some hidden files and folder in there.

If there isn't then I suggest you ring up Microsoft and tell them your problem.

but i think you can format it in the xbox settings, no?

I have absolutely no idea. I dont have, nor have I ever played, or have the desire to play an Xbox 360. Just a suggestion.


But, you can format anything. Just need to know how. Which I dont if there isnt an option.

yeah, i think i remember seeing an Format option in the settings.

There's always hidden system files which will take up some space and the rest of the missing space will probably be due to the fact that you never get exactly the space they say it is.

Oh, oops sorry. Didn't know, there should a setting in the settings or something to format it. Try that.
