C:drive always asks for browser

Hi I have a strange problem. Every time I double-click on the C: drive, it asks me what I would like to "Open with", and the 'don't ask me again' box is grayed out. It is becoming quite annoying having to click on the browser everytime I want to search my C: Any help would be really appreciated.

You should be able to right click it and choose explore as well.

Are you going through "My Computer" to double click on C drive or is it in another location?

yes, it is from my computer

Try right clicking it and then click on explore, does the same thing happen?

yes, when i right click on C: and choose explore, same deal.
