Can't directly access files on Sansa Vuse

I recently received a Sansa Vuse mp3 player and started putting my music on it. On a media center computer (not sure if that matters) I was able to access the mp3 player's files directly through explorer. But when I switched to an x64 XP professional computer, I was only able to add files using WMP's synchronization function. This sync function makes it hard to add music, and impossible to download music from the mp3 player. I would like to access the mp3 player through windows explorer on my XP pro x64 computer. When I hook it up it only gives me to sync with WMP. And it doesn't appear in a volume in 'My Computer'. Anyone know what might be causing this and how to fix it?
