CPU Max Temperatures

My 4000+ has never gotten above 80F even under 100% load

my CPU spikes at 53c with P95, and idles at 33c, stock 3GHz P2 940

I had my PIII 600mhz Runing 91c

We check and make sure our refurbished PIII's don't run above 60c and that the temperature is fairly stable. Generally if it's higher either the CPU didn't get thermal paste or there's a problem with the heat sink/fan combination.

Phew!!! TIME TO OVERCLOCKS MY TOUGHBOOK TO 91C, btw: If I have a 1.6Ghz PM, and it runs at 23.43333C, how fast is it when I clock it to 91C???

you cant overclock to a temperature? and 91C would almost surely kill any CPU
