Could somebody please help with Firefox

Everytime I open up firefox I get this message "Firefox could not install this item because of a failure in Chrome Registration. Please contact the author about this problem." Then after this box comes up for times in a row firefox opens up and then another box opens up to display add ons and extensions. How can i stop this madness. Thanks

Yes, I tried 3 times. And it's still a no go.

Did it ever work? Or did it not work from the beginning.

If it did work before did you install a plug-in just before it started erroring out?
Make sure all of your plug-ins are gone as well when you try your re-install.

Sounds like more of a problem with Google Chrome. Uninstall anything associated with Chrome, and start over with Firefox.

You could run CCleaner to get rid of any leftover crud.

No, it didn't do this before. just lately it started. I could'nt find anything with chrome in it. I ran cc but no luck. Still that same message.

Try this: Right click the Firefox icon on your desktop, then select "run as administrator".

Yep, tried that one too. I got one I didn't try yet. I pick up my laptop and throw it like a frisbee. Thanks for all your help and I hope you some more suggestions.
