Need a good file converter

Ok im looking for a program to convert VERY large file from AVI format to either or both MPG4 or WMV... or any other video formats... i need this to convert actual movies

How large is VERY large? A movie is only around 700mb-1gb...

Do you want an online converter or an offline? Depending on where the file is loaded.

well a movie file is fairly large (700mb-1gb) and yes im needing something preferably offline but i would do it online if needed...
